           Education is any act or experience that has an effect on the mind , character ,or physical ability of an individual while education in it technical sense is process by which society transmits its knowledge , skills and values from one generation to another .

          The word education is derived from "educate " which mean in bring up .Education is not only process of learning but also process of  upbringing .Without education is as though in a closed room and with education he  find himself in a room with all its windows open towards outside world .Islam attaches such great importance to knowledge and education and first word of its first verse is "Iqra" that is read .

            Education in the past different  from now . Schools in the past were very simple .There were a few teachers ,schools , and teaching aids .Education was  to specific class of people ,who have a high position and a lot of money because there were fees they have to pay to enrolled their children in schools .

           Now every one poor or rich can enrolled in school with a little fees .There are many schools  at all stages , a lot of teaching aids , and many teachers . People now can learn through educational sits in the internet without teachers and schools . 

         At the end we tend to think over time as making things worse and idealize the past as better and simple .
